The 1084 Cuvée represents the synthesis of the members’ enthusiasm for wanting to create the most loved type of wine with a production method that the company judges to be the best ever. We work bases from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes with the Solera method, assembling vintage wines with reserve wines followed by refermentation in the bottle.
The following steps from excavation to remuage up to disgorgement are strictly manual. The obsessive attention of these processes gives to the final product an extreme elegance and originality, brazen if compared. This is the philosophy sought and desired since the birth of the company as well as the name that takes us back to the Abbey year of birth.
A light oxidative note is one of the typical characteristics of this bubble. La Cuvée 1084 perfectly balances the aromas of citrus fruits, dried flowers, almonds, toasted coffee and spices with a large and rich body in brioche bread and flint. Strong acidity, in a tactile texture of great pleasantness and elegance, ends with a long finish.
