Sor Unno Terzilio

Toscana Rosso I.G.T.
1084 La Cuvée

Description

The “Sor Unno” wine takes its name from an emblematic figure of the country. Head of the farm, he marked the sowing and harvesting times depending on the weather conditions. With the same concept, this wine expresses the vines most favored by the climatic trends of the vintage. For this reason – year after year – there may be variations in the grape variety.

Sor Unno is a very important wine for the company as, in the attention to detail, from the harvest to the packaging, it wants to represent the company message, that is, niche products with attention to both their appearance and their organoleptic characteristics that entice enthusiasts to discover not only wine, but also history of the territory and its characters.

Curiosity: The label bag with a drip tray inside to serve the wine makes the bottle a perfect gift for wine enthusiasts.

Production

The wine can be the result of a blend or a single grape variety. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel containers and daily punching down is carried out strictly manually.

The 12 months aging, approximately, takes place in French oak tonneaux. Afterwards the wine is transferred, without filtration processes, to the bottling vat where, after a stop to allow the perfect blending of the wines coming from the various barrels, it is bottled by dropping it without the use of mechanical bottling machines.
